Description:

As iNet continues to expand nationwide, we are hiring Field Support Technicians based in Casper, Rawlins, or Douglas, Wyoming to support the deployment and maintenance of advanced connectivity solutions.

Technicians in this role will regularly support field operations across northern Colorado, all of Wyoming, and western North Dakota, with additional nationwide travel as business needs require.

This is a field-based role that includes paid training and a required 90-day Short Service Employee (SSE) onboarding and training period in Midland, Texas. Upon successful completion, technicians return to their Wyoming home base and support regional and nationwide projects as work dictates.

This position offers a structured onboarding path, progression to full Technician status, and potential compensation growth. Relocation, housing, and training-related accommodations are provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities Include:

  • System Deployment: Install, align, and commission RF and satellite systems including Starlink, LTE, VSAT, and point-to-point / multipoint wireless networks.
  • Cable & Equipment Setup: Run, dress, and terminate CAT5/6, RG6, LMR-400/600, and Romex; mount antennas and configure field equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues at remote sites to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Digital Documentation: Use mobile tools and applications to log service notes, capture site photos, and complete job records.
  • Field Operations & Regional Travel: Travel independently to job sites across northern Colorado, all of Wyoming, western North Dakota, and other U.S. regions as required, while maintaining iNet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Requirements:

Training, Travel and Job Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to Midland, TX for a continuous 90-day training and onboarding period
  • Willingness to travel throughout the United States based on operational and customer needs
  • Availability for overtime, weekends, rotational schedules, and on-call assignments as required
  • Military background in communications or electronics (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in telecom, wireless, IT networking, or related technical fields
  • Hands-on experience with LTE, satellite systems, and point-to-point radios
  • Familiarity with Ubiquiti/UniFi, Cisco/Meraki, Starlink, OneWeb, and WeBoost
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
  • Clear communication skills and professional field presence
  • SCADA and PLC experience (a plus)

  • Ability to work outdoors in industrial, oil & gas, and remote environments
