Job description

OneSparQ is looking for Accounts Payable Specialist for a growing manufacturing company in Brook Park, OH
Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable or bookkeeping
  • Understanding of general ledger
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically in Excel
  • Associates Degree


Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, check issuance, vendor setup, and banking verification
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and compliance documentation, including W-9s, insurance certificates, and year-end 1099 reporting
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment, billing, and account discrepancies
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging, contact customers regarding outstanding balances, and facilitate timely collection of overdue accounts
  • Analyze delinquent accounts, develop collection strategies, negotiate payment arrangements, and escalate high-risk accounts as needed
