This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while enjoying the structure of a consistent office schedule. You will engage with clients through virtual sessions, utilizing telehealth platforms that ensure confidentiality and security. Our team collaborates closely using digital communication tools and electronic health records, aiming to provide seamless and integrated care to every client.

• Conduct individualized virtual therapy sessions that address a variety of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges.
• Utilize active listening skills and therapeutic techniques to guide clients in processing their emotions and developing healthier coping strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to establish realistic personal and therapeutic goals, and frequently assess progress through evidence-based methodologies.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on the evolving needs of your clients, ensuring their individual circumstances are respected and addressed.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

In this role, you will connect with a diverse client population from various backgrounds and with varying degrees of mental health needs. Your clients may include adults, adolescents, and families seeking support during challenging transitions, trauma recovery, or ongoing mental health maintenance. Understanding the unique cultural and socio-economic context of Albany, Georgia, is vital to effectively engaging with and supporting our clients.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure in Georgia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with clients in a mental health capacity, demonstrating a strong client-centered approach.
• Proficient communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients through virtual platforms.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth practices is advantageous, enabling efficient client management and documentation.

• Demonstrated experience in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Experience working with underserved populations, trauma-informed care, or crisis management may be beneficial.
• Knowledge of community resources to provide clients with appropriate referrals based on their specific needs.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
