Job Summary:

As a Turf Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead teams in lawn care, mowing, aeration, and turf health. You will be responsible for ensuring the health, appearance, and longevity of turf areas for commercial and residential properties. You oversee the efficiency and quality of work to maintain our client’s green spaces in peak condition. This position requires a hands-on approach to turf maintenance, while providing guidance and direction to the crew.

Key Responsibilities:

●       Lead & Supervise the Turf Maintenance Crew – Assign tasks, ensure productivity, and maintain a safe work environment.
●       Perform Hands On Maintenance Work- Mow, edge, string trim, and fertilize lawns to maintain optimal turf health.
●       Assist team in identifying and treating turf diseases, pests, and weeds using appropriate methods.
●       Assist in seasonal turf care activities- such as cleanups, mulching, and debris removal.
●       Operate and maintain landscaping equipment- including mowers, trimmers, and string trimmers and blowers.
●       Communicate with Clients & Leadership- Provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
●       Identify and engage opportunities to upsell customers on relevant services
●       Manage Daily Schedules & Job Sites – Plan routes, track progress, and resolve on-site challenges.
●       Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards – Promote a culture of safety and enforce company policies.
●       Display reliable, responsible, and dependable behavior.
●       Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

●       High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
●       Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team. (leadership experience preferred).
●       Excellent communication and customer service skills.
●       Proven experience in turf maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred.
●       Ability to safely operate and maintain turf maintenance equipment.
●       Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor.
●       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
●       Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
●       Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
●       A willingness to learn and grow within our company.
