An Oncore job typically refers to a position within the Oncore platform, a workforce management system used for contingent labor and project-based work. These jobs can vary across industries and may include contract, temporary, or gig-based roles. Oncore helps businesses efficiently manage and pay their contingent workforce while ensuring compliance with labor regulations. If you are hired for an Oncore job, you may work as an independent contractor or temporary employee depending on the arrangement.
A typical day for an Oncore Clinical Research Associate involves monitoring ongoing clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted according to protocol, and reviewing data for accuracy and compliance. You'll frequently interact with study site staff, coordinate with investigators, and document findings in clinical trial management systems like OnCore. The role may also include onsite visits, remote monitoring, and regular meetings with sponsors or regulatory teams. Timely communication and attention to protocol details are crucial, making it a dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities to learn and grow within the clinical research field.
To thrive in an Oncore Clinical Research Associate role, a background in life sciences, clinical trial monitoring experience, and knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as GCP are essential. Proficiency in electronic data capture (EDC) systems, trial management software, and certifications like ACRP or SOCRA are often required. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help candidates excel in multi-site coordination and team settings. These capabilities ensure the smooth execution, compliance, and high-quality outcomes of clinical research studies.
