Urologist

Join a well-established and expanding healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana that actively prioritizes physician well-being and a sustainable work-life balance. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to design your practice around your professional goals within a premier, tech-forward environment, distinguished as one of the few HIMSS Stage VII facilities in the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient urological care including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical intervention
  • Perform a variety of urological surgeries utilizing advanced technology and robotic platforms as needed
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR system and integrated AI tools to maintain precise and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and support staff within a paperless HIMSS Stage VII environment
  • Design and grow a clinical practice that incorporates subspecialty interests such as oncology, robotics, or stones
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Maintain active communication with referring physicians to ensure seamless care coordination across the region
  • Adhere to all hospital medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology required
  • Degree from an accredited MD or DO program
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology Residency
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
  • Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred
  • Willingness to utilize AI-integrated clinical documentation and predictive tools
  • Proficiency in a paperless, high-informatics clinical environment (HIMSS Stage VII)
  • Ability to perform a full range of general urological procedures
