• Provide exceptional outpatient-focused care for patients with thoracic malignancies within a multidisciplinary oncology practice.
• Collaborate closely with thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, pulmonology, and supportive care teams to deliver integrated patient-centered care.
• Participate in select inpatient clinical responsibilities as part of a collaborative oncology care model.
• Contribute to the advancement of thoracic oncology through participation in clinical trials and translational research initiatives.
• Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards, case conferences, and collaborative treatment planning.
• Support academic and educational initiatives through mentorship, teaching, and scholarly collaboration.
• Contribute to programmatic growth, innovation, and the continued expansion of thoracic oncology services.
• Foster an environment of collaboration, compassion, scientific rigor, and excellence aligned with High Reliability Organization principles.

The Thoracic Oncology Program at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is nationally recognized for its multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and research of lung and thoracic malignancies. • MD, DO, or equivalent degree with board eligibility or certification in Medical Oncology or a related specialty.
• A strong clinical interest and expertise in thoracic oncology and multidisciplinary cancer care.

• Interest in clinical trials, translational research, and advancing innovative treatment strategies for thoracic malignancies.

1. License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
2. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Thoracic Surgery and Oncology.

• Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the specialty of Thoracic Surgery and Oncology.
• Education must have been granted by an accredited school, college, or university or one recognized by the institution as following acceptable educational practices.
