Position: Logistics Specialist

Status: Fulltime, Exempt

Location: Bloomingdale, GA

Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Reports To: Head of Department and Senior Management

Schedule flexibility is required due to the logistics support responsibilities of this position. The Logistics Specialist may be required to report early, remain after the normal shift, or work outside the standard schedule—including occasional weekends or holidays—based on production schedules, customer requirements, staffing, equipment issues, or other operational needs.

Company Overview:

Seoyon E-HWA, a leading manufacturer of automotive interior parts, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role will oversee and manage the logistics operations for the delivery of auto interior parts, ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-effective distribution. This role is responsible for Just-In-Time (JIT) and OneKit delivery management, coordinating the transportation and delivery of critical parts. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, knowledge of logistics management within the automotive industry, and experience with supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

JIT Item Delivery Management:

  • Manage the delivery of critical JIT parts to ensure timely arrival at production facilities.
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to align delivery schedules with production demands, minimizing inventory while avoiding shortages or delays.
  • Monitor JIT inventory levels and adjust delivery schedules based on production forecasts and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure on-time deliveries and quality service.

OneKit Item Delivery Management:

  • Oversee the coordination of OneKit item deliveries, specifically handling urban item transfer correspondence, ensuring that all parts are delivered as a unified kit.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of urban items, ensuring no missing parts in each kit.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring all kits arrive at the correct destination, and take immediate corrective actions when issues arise.
  • Coordinate with external logistics providers to ensure efficient delivery and minimize any disruptions to production schedules.

Logistics Coordination & Scheduling:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize delivery schedules for all incoming and outgoing shipments of auto interior parts.
  • Work with suppliers, warehouses, and carriers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of materials, components, and finished products.
  • Handle transportation and distribution logistics for both raw materials and finished products, ensuring they meet production and customer deadlines.

Inventory and Stock Management:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of critical parts to prevent stockouts or overstocking, ensuring seamless production.
  • Work with supply chain teams to forecast future demand and make necessary adjustments to inventory management strategies.
  • Analyze trends in material usage and recommend improvements to minimize delays and optimize logistics operations.

Vendor and Carrier Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and carriers.
  • Evaluate and select the best transport options based on cost, delivery speed, and reliability.
  • Manage communication with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate logistics processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and better service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks in the logistics chain.
  • Implement and monitor best practices for logistics management, including the use of technology and data analysis to improve decision-making.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure that all logistics operations comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor the safety and security of goods during transportation and storage, ensuring proper handling and compliance with safety guidelines.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on inventory levels, shipping schedules, delivery status, and performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to management on logistics performance, identifying any potential issues and suggesting solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of JIT and OneKit logistics management
  • Experience with logistics management software, ERP systems, and tracking tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred

  • Experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
