Job description

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Mobile Crisis Team Responder to join our team. Hourly rate for Crisis Service Mobile Crisis Team Responder: $20.00/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis phone calls, walk-ins on-site, and provide on-site risk assessments within Vanderburgh County.
  • Complete comprehensive risk assessment, consult with supervisor and/or psychiatrist on-call for recommendations.
  • Provide follow-up and care coordination for clients served.
  • Mobile Crisis Team will provide a presence on-site at a specialized crisis shelter to monitor, engage, and coordinate referrals for participants.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field of study.
  • Experience working with mental health, addiction, and homeless population preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Commitment to improving access of mental health services in our community.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
