Position Summary
We are seeking reliable, adaptable, and professional Flex Concierge Officers to join our growing team. Flex Officers are essential to our operation and are responsible for covering shifts across various residential buildings-both in downtown and uptown Chicago. This role is ideal for individuals who are new to residential security or concierge work and want to gain experience while building toward a potential permanent assignment, based on performance and availability.
Flex Officers are scheduled in advance but must also be available for on-call needs, shift coverage, and priority site assignments. Hours are not guaranteed, but officers who consistently accept shifts and remain flexible can work 40+ hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional front desk service at a variety of luxury residential properties
  • Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a warm, courteous manner
  • Learn and follow post orders for multiple sites
  • Monitor building access, respond to incidents, and report safety or security issues
  • Handle package logging, visitor management systems, and resident communication
  • Communicate effectively with MFort leadership, property management, and onsite teams
  • Adapt quickly to new environments, policies, and property procedures
  • Maintain a clean, presentable lobby and workspace
  • Follow company and site-specific policies and procedures

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a vehicle and able to travel to Arlington Heights
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Open availability for 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform lobby or round duties
  • Prior concierge, front desk or security experience is preferred
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Status: Flex/On-Call - Schedule assigned weekly but subject to change based on business needs
  • Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
  • Locations: Must be able to travel between various locations across Arlington Heights and Evanston
