Job description

Job Summary:
eTeam is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing custom ABAP programs and solutions while ensuring performance optimization and compliance with SAP standards.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP ABAP solutions.
• Design, develop, and enhance custom ABAP programs, interfaces, reports, and forms (WRICEF objects).
• Lead technical design workshops and provide guidance on SAP development best practices.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and ensure alignment with functional requirements.
• Oversee full development lifecycle: coding, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with functional teams and middleware experts for seamless integration.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure compliance with SAP standards.
• Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms for high-availability systems.
• Manage incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide mentorship, training, and knowledge transfer to junior developers and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, CDS Views, OData services, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) development.
• Proficient in CDS Views, OData services, and ABAP on HANA optimizations.
• Skilled in BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, IDoc/ALE, and Workflow development.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and integration knowledge across SAP modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in Agile environments (JIRA/Azure DevOps experience is a plus).
Preferred:
