Key Responsibilities

• As a clinician, engage directly with clients suffering from major mental health issues and severe emotional disorders, providing therapy and support in both office and community settings.
• Participate actively as a team member, contributing to the advancement of common goals while fostering an environment of collaboration.
• Cultivate a respectful working relationship with colleagues and clients by recognizing and valuing diverse beliefs, interpersonal styles, and backgrounds.
• Implement and adhere to organizational guidelines and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with professional codes of conduct.
• Help identify client needs and concerns through brief, evidence-based screening and, when necessary, arrange for comprehensive assessments.
• Create and implement integrated care plans, coordinating efforts with clients, family members, and providers to ensure comprehensive service access.
• Monitor client progress through ongoing assessments, therapy sessions, and adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring that the services reflect client-identified goals.
• Provide immediate support during crises, employing crisis intervention techniques effectively to stabilize clients in acute situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring timely completion of reports as required.
• Participate in on-call duties to provide support outside of regular program hours as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with individuals who experience serious mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Many of our clients may come from backgrounds marked by significant social challenges, underscoring the importance of culturally competent care. Your work will not only focus on their treatment but also on empowering clients to take control of their health journeys, aligning with our commitment to client choice and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A valid LCSW license is necessary to practice in Florida.
• Two or more years of experience in social work or a clinical environment, particularly with mental health populations.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional expertise in crisis intervention, community outreach, and mental health assessment methods will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, telehealth platforms, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques will also be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
