To thrive as an On Call Pilot, you need a commercial pilot’s license, strong flight skills, and a thorough understanding of aviation regulations, often supported by additional ratings such as instrument or multi-engine endorsements. Familiarity with flight planning software, GPS navigation systems, and aircraft-specific avionics is typically required.
