Purpose

The Construction Structural Supervisor coordinates all construction activities related to Structural discipline, facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all construction & commissioning activities of your discipline are carried out at site according to the approved plans, specifications and project schedule, in compliance with HSSE & Quality regulations and standards.
  • Supervise the daily operations of your discipline at site including workforce management, material handling, and equipment usage, and ensure the site team is working with the latest project drawings, specifications and procedures.
  • Enforce HSSE protocols and procedures to ensure all construction activities comply with company regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate between the construction team, project management, and other stakeholders to resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Provide guidance and resolve challenges to achieve seamless transitions and handovers.
  • Implement changes to the construction plan or scope, assessing impacts on the project.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the project management team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Education
  • At least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • CSWIP 3.1 or IWI (IIW-S-IIS) or AWS QC1 or CWI
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role, with strong understanding of construction & commissioning management processes in the relevant discipline.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
