Job description

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Our organization is on the lookout for a MIGS Specialist to become part of our employed physician team. We are currently evaluating candidates with a surgical background who also possess an interest in pelvic medicine. The scope of our practice encompasses various aspects of pelvic health, including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar conditions, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Please note that this role does not involve obstetrics.

The chosen candidate will join our Medical Group, which consists of nearly 700 providers across multiple specialties. Our organization, based in Akron, Ohio, stands as one of the largest integrated healthcare delivery systems in the state, featuring two hospitals and over 20 health centers to ensure comprehensive access to care throughout the region.

Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
  • Possession of an unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Active participation in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Dedication to evidence-based, standardized care within a patient-centered, team-oriented environment.
