Clinical Trials Coordinator - CNS & Behavioral Health
IMA Clinical Research Chicago, IL Full-Time $60,000-$65,000 annually
At IMA Clinical Research, we're advancing the science behind psychiatry, behavioral health, and central nervous system (CNS) conditions - work that directly shapes the treatment options available to patients tomorrow. As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you'll work alongside experienced investigators, managing study operations from enrollment through completion while serving as a steady, trusted presence for participants navigating complex conditions.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Oversee daily clinical trial activities, ensuring protocol compliance and study success
  • Coordinate participant scheduling, study procedures, assessments, and follow-up visits
  • Perform phlebotomy and assist with collection and processing of study specimens
  • Serve as the key liaison between study participants, investigators, sponsors, CROs, and monitoring teams
  • Maintain source documentation, case report forms, and study records with rigorous attention to quality and accuracy
  • Support site readiness for audits, monitoring visits, and regulatory reviews
  • Assist with safety reporting, adverse event documentation, and participant retention efforts

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating clinical research studies
  • Phlebotomy proficiency required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior experience in CNS, mental health, psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, or behavioral health research preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active studies at once
  • CCRC certification preferred but not required
