Job description

SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing breakdowns of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and general facility systems. This position ensures timely response to equipment issues and conducts routine and emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic system issues in production and facility equipment.

  • Perform corrective repairs on motors, conveyors, ovens, chillers, air compressors, HVAC, and other utilities.

  • Maintain records of repair work and equipment history logs.

  • Assist in root cause analysis for repetitive equipment failures.

  • Fabricate, replace, or adjust mechanical components as needed.

  • Support emergency response for equipment breakdowns outside regular hours (if on call).

  • Coordinate with equipment vendors or external contractors when necessary.

  • Comply with safety standards and use proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

  • Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) program and suggest improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Vocational or technical training in mechanical/electrical maintenance preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Bilingual in English and Korean required.
