We’re looking for a compassionate and confident Registered Nurse to join our On-call hospice team. This position offers a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a predictable schedule and valuable time away from work.

What You’ll Do

As an On-Call Hospice RN, you’ll provide compassionate, skilled support to patients and families during after-hours needs, helping them remain comfortable and supported wherever they call home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to after-hours and on-call needs for hospice patients

  • Providing skilled nursing care, symptom management, and urgent interventions

  • Assessing patient needs and using strong clinical judgment to determine appropriate interventions

  • Providing compassionate guidance, education, and reassurance to patients and families

  • Communicating and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary hospice team

  • Documenting patient care accurately and in a timely manner

  • Serving as a calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate resource when patients and families need support most

What We’re Looking For
  • Active Pennsylvania RN license required

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

  • Hospice experience preferred

  • Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient-centered approach and genuine compassion for others

  • Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the care team

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
