Job Description*INTERNAL POSTING*This opportunity is only open to current employees. The hospitality staff member is required to be onsite day of scheduled events. The hours may include evenings and weekend hours. The person in this position will assist in preparation of the event, oversight throughout the event, and final clean-up of the event within Central Park Place.Position DescriptionEssential Job FunctionsAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.1. Effectively communicate and greet guests to create a positive and memorable experience2. Meet with existing clients to work on event details and schedule room layout3. Provide technical assistance as needed for video/AV/sound equipment (training provided)4. Oversee booked events at Central Park Place including adherence to rental policy5. Meet with special events coordinators onsite to ensure compliance with event setupRequired Education, Training and ExperienceThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities and minimum qualifications necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. You will not be able to pick up any additional hours at CPP if there is a conflict of interest.- You should notify your manager or supervisor that you are submitting your name to be added to the list for additional hours at CPP.- Once you submit your application, your application will be reviewed.
