Job description

EP RN – Electrophysiology

Schedule: 3 x 12 hours shifts, primarily days with some late nights, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 17 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

  • License: New York State RN License
  • 2 years of experience
  • Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • Proficient in moderate sedation
  • Experience with GE (MacLab & CardioLab) system preferred but not required

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions.
  • Ensure all equipment and instrumentation are in working order.
  • Monitor recording during procedures and assist with lab analysis.
  • Assist physicians with pacing implementation and installation of permanent devices.
  • Maintain focus on patient care while assisting in sterile field preparations.
  • Document using Epic during procedures and provide backup pacing during implants.
