Qualifications:

- Experience working in or in support of an injection molding operation preferred but not required.

- Mechanical ability with use of basic hand tools

- Detail oriented

- Ability to learn mold preventive mold maintenance

- Ability to maintain good attendance


Summary: Mold PM Technician performs deep cleaning and preventative maintenance on molds, tooling, fixtures, and other mold components as necessary to ensure the support of the plant production by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· Services, maintains, dies, and molds.

· Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on molds, tooling, fixtures, etc. and fills out pm paperwork for all preventative work and tasks performed.

· Operates a variety of small machines, tools, and equipment.

· PM Process includes “Deep Cleaning” (chemical peel or dry ice blasting) and any other deep cleaning techniques as per pm work instructions. Greasing and Lubing (various greases and lubricants) as defined in the pm work instructions.

· Will assist Mold Repair Technician with mold repairs as needed.

· Maintain good housekeeping practices.

· Perform all other duties as required.

· Available to be on a “On Call Rotation.”

· Other duties may be assigned.
