About the Role
As a driver for Indiana Donor Network, you will be responsible for the following:
• Driving organ and tissue staff members to and from donor hospitals throughout the state of Indiana
• Transporting donor samples and/or organs to and from the airport or appropriate testing facility
Transporting deceased patients from hospitals and morgues to our facility for recovery, and from our center to funeral homes within the state of Indiana
• Working closely with both internal team members and external clients, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
In this PRN / on-call position. You will provide your availability for 24-hour on-call shifts in advance and will be scheduled based on that availability each month. The shifts run from 6 am to 6 am, The primary focus will be nights from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, but the shift could extend outside this range. A minimum of 7 to 8 24-hour on call shifts per month are required.
