Since 1918 Schimberg Co. has been a family-owned distributor of pipe, valves, and fittings. With seven locations across the Midwest, we serve a diverse list of commercial and industrial customers. We are seeking a Local Class A CDL Driver to deliver piping supplies to job sites, industrial plants, and customer locations in Decatur and surrounding areas. Our drivers are the face of our company, providing exceptional service while making timely deliveries to numerous stops. We want you to learn our industry, advance your skills and share in our success.
This role is a mix of making deliveries on daily routes and warehouse duties. Deliveries are made with a pickup truck or a flatbed truck-trailer combination. Warehouse responsibilities includes pulling, staging, loading and unloading materials. This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday, daytime hours. You'll be home every night! We offer a competitive hourly rate, based on experience, and a complete benefit package including: medical, dental, flexible spending, life insurance, generous retirement plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
