Job Title: Machine Operator – Filler
Location: Newport News, VA

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
Overview
The Machine Operator – Filler is responsible for operating and monitoring automated filling equipment to ensure olive oil is dispensed into bottles accurately and efficiently. This role ensures proper fill levels, minimizes product waste, and maintains compliance with food safety, quality, and production standards.
What You’ll Do
  • Operate and monitor automated filling equipment to ensure accurate fill volumes
  • Set up and adjust filling machines according to product specifications
  • Perform changeovers between production runs as required
  • Conduct routine quality checks to verify fill levels, bottle integrity, and product flow
  • Identify and correct underfills, overfills, leaks, or spills
  • Accurately record production data, including lot numbers and quality checks
  • Report equipment malfunctions or irregularities to the Supervisor or Maintenance team
  • Maintain cleanliness of the filling area in accordance with GMP and sanitation standards
  • Follow all food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety procedures
  • Support production efficiency while minimizing downtime and product loss
