Position Summary:

As an On-Call Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide clinical support across the campus on an as-needed basis, ensuring high-quality care and timely response to resident needs. This role offers flexibility while maintaining a critical presence in supporting nursing operations, staffing coverage, and resident care outcomes. Ideal for a dependable, experienced RN who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards
  • Respond to call-offs, increased census, and urgent staffing needs across shifts
  • Assess resident conditions, monitor changes, and communicate effectively with providers and care teams
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Support and collaborate with CNAs, Medication Aides, and other team members
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and state regulations
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times
  • Serve as a clinical resource and leader when working on assigned shifts


Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska (or compact state)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt quickly in varying situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and responsive to scheduling needs
