Job description

Alpha Baseball is seeking a Hitting Coordinator to lead our hitting department. This is an opportunity to work with an established athlete base while helping shape hitter development in the Midwest through objective data, technology, and elite coaching.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of the Alpha Baseball hitting department.
  • Develop hitters from youth athletes through collegiate and professional players.
  • Build, hire, mentor, and manage a team of hitting coaches as the department continues to grow.
  • Create and oversee a standardized player development system that delivers consistent, measurable results across all coaches.
  • Design individualized player development plans using HitTrax, Blast Motion, force plates, high-speed video, and objective performance data.
  • Analyze player data to improve swing efficiency, bat speed, power production, contact quality, and overall offensive performance.
  • Continue growing an already successful hitting program while delivering an exceptional athlete experience.
  • Collaborate with our strength & conditioning, pitching, and analytics departments to provide a complete player development model.
