Position Summary

McCormick Assisted Living is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join our leadership team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for an RN leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, staff development, and supporting high clinical standards in an assisted living setting.

The Assistant Director of Nursing partners closely with the Director of Nursing to support daily clinical operations, maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies, and provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team. This position also plays an important role in resident assessments, care planning, quality improvement, and staff support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations within the community
  • Support compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and clinical support to nursing staff
  • Assist with resident assessments, service planning, and ongoing care coordination
  • Help recruit, onboard, train, and mentor nursing team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical reviews
  • Serve as the Director of Nursing designee when needed
  • Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassionate resident care
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as part of the nursing leadership team

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead with professionalism, compassion, and accountability
  • Ability to work on-site in Green Bay, Wisconsin
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
