Survival Flight is accepting resumes for a full-time Aviation Mechanic (A&P) to join our FAA Part 145 Repair Station in Batesville, Arkansas.As an Aviation Mechanic, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of our aircraft by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an A&P-certified mechanic looking to grow their aviation career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance on company aircraft.Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and replace aircraft components using approved maintenance manuals and technical data.Ensure all maintenance is completed in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.Accurately document all maintenance performed in accordance with FAA requirements.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Participate in an on-call rotation after completing training.Travel for up to two weeks at a time as operational needs require.Be available to work occasional weekends and overtime to support maintenance operations.Work collaboratively with fellow maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft are returned to service safely and efficiently.Support Survival Flight's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Required)Valid Driver's LicenseStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation after trainingAbility to travel for up to two weeks at a time as business needs requireAbility to work occasional weekends and overtimeMust be able to report to the Batesville maintenance facility within 60 minutes while participating in the on-call rotationPreferred QualificationsTwo (2) or more years of aviation maintenance experienceExperience with Bell 407 helicopters and/or Pilatus PC-12 aircraftPrevious experience working in a Part 145 Repair Station or Part 135 environmentHelicopter experience is preferred but not required.
