Job Title: Forklift Operator
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Maxton, NC
Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift: Day (6am - 2:30pm)
Warehouse and Productions Opportunities Available
Responsibilities:
  • Must possess organizational skills to proper receive inbound and ship outbound shipments.
  • Able to help during the discard process.
  • Receiving, inspecting and washing returned Proboxes
  • Receiving, inspecting and repairing returned pallets.
  • Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of products; and report any known or observed violations to management.
  • Able to read computer generated reports.
  • Able to distinguish product names, product numbers, lot numbers, batch numbers and warehouse locations.
  • Operate a forklift in a safe manner.
  • Able to obtain material samples following Quality Plan.
  • Able to lift up to and including 50-pound packages in a safe manner.
  • Must possess and exhibit good verbal English communication skills to communicate with all departments and coworkers to alert management of problems or needs to ensure proper continuous operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience operating a forklift
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and must have overall computer aptitude
  • Team player who is flexible, open to change, creative, proactive, forward thinking, takes initiative
  • Must be able to function and work well in a team as well as independently with little to no immediate supervision
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Safety and Teamwork Mindset.
