SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

  • Able to work under the direction of a supervisor

  • Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine

  • Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems

  • Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies

  • Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications

  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls

  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications

  • Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment

  • Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards

  • Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy

  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Licensed Florida Pharmacy Technicianrequired

  • Experience with robotic packaging systems

  • Previous data entry experiencepreferred

  • Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systemspreferred

  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience, a plus

  • Previous experience working in automated environment

  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented

  • Ability to physically perform light lifting
