Why This Role Matters: More Than Just a Drive
At Omega Health Services, our Transit Drivers are often the very first and last face our patients see each day. We are seeking a safety-focused professional who understands that they aren't just moving a vehicle-they are providing an essential lifeline.
You will ensure our patients and staff arrive at their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time. If you want a driving career where your daily route actively improves lives in your community, you belong behind our wheel.
Your Impact: What You'll Do
As a Transit Driver, you are the backbone of our community access program. On a daily basis, you will:
- Deliver Safe & Smooth Transit: Operate company fleet vehicles (primarily buses) with an unshakeable "safety-first" mindset, executing both fixed schedules and on-demand routes.
- Provide Compassionate Assistance: Offer dedicated "door-to-door" care by assisting passengers with mobility challenges, ensuring wheelchairs and assistive devices are secured with absolute precision.
- Practice Vehicle Stewardship: Conduct rigorous pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, acting as the first line of defense in identifying maintenance needs and keeping our fleet in top-tier condition.
- Maintain Meticulous Records: Log accurate digital or manual records for trip mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador: Represent Omega Health Services on the road by practicing defensive, courteous driving and delivering exceptional customer service.
