Job description

OLAPLEX, a category-defining leader in prestige hair care, continuously seeks talented individuals to join in our mission to transform foundational hair health and deliver great hair days today, tomorrow, and for years to come.

As the original bond builder, we are dedicated to fostering a culture that celebrates the bonds within our teams. OLAPLEX elevates individuals from all backgrounds with the belief that together we can unlock the full potential of science to extend the health, life, and beauty of hair for all.

About the Role:

The Regional Education Manager is responsible for strategically planning and executing professional education across all field channels. This person communicates the OLAPLEX message to distribution partner teams (DSCs and Educators) and to stylists in independent and chain salons, schools, and professional beauty outlets. You will collaborate closely with Field Sales Managers to coordinate educational activities that support distributor business goals, while maintaining strong existing relationships, fostering new partnerships, and opening new doors through education. Serving as a critical link between OLAPLEX and our professional customers, this role builds community through best-in-class training. To succeed, you must possess thorough knowledge of OLAPLEX products and services, with the ability to develop educational resources that drive salon success and support overall channel sales goals.

This role reports to the National Field Education Manager, and works closely with the education management team, the other Regional Education Managers throughout North America and the entire field sales team.

  • Champion the OLAPLEX philosophy of bond-building science through impactful and inspiring education
  • Implement regional education strategies that grow brand awareness, sales, and stylist loyalty
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of Regional Educators to deliver consistent, high-quality education
  • Facilitate engaging technical and business-building education for salons, distributor partners, and store employees
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to successfully launch new products, promotions, and initiatives
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all educational programs, events, and activations
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with salons, distributor sales consultants, and key accounts to support retention and growth
  • Represent OLAPLEX at distributor shows, regional events, and industry gatherings
  • Deliver education in both live and virtual formats, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and enthusiasm
  • Monitor regional performance and collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve education and sales goals
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the technical curriculum to set a standard of excellence, effectively communicating this expertise to OLAPLEX contract educators and students in the field
  • Plan, develop, and execute regional cluster classes for distributor partners throughout your region
About You:
  • Licensed cosmetologist with a strong background in cutting, color and styling of all hair types
  • 8+ years of haircare education experience
  • Highly motivated, organized, and a creative problem solver, capable of managing complex travel schedules and maximizing time in key field markets
  • Strong multi-tasker with the ability to balance administrative goals, budget tracking (Google Sheets), and cross-functional partnerships
  • Exceptional presentation skills with experience facilitating engaging in-person and virtual programs for diverse audiences
  • Inspirational leader dedicated to fostering collaborative relationships with salon partners, distributors, and internal teams, especially field sales managers in your territory
  • Must be located near a major airport with direct travel to the East Coast
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% consistently, including weekends
  • Experience managing shows and events, such as trade shows or regional education events, is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with distribution partners (independent distributors, national partners like SalonCentric and BSG as well as large chains) to align on education strategies and drive brand success
  • Proven ability to track and report measurable goals of success with a strong understanding of strategic goal setting to support overall department key priority initiatives
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and SharePoint
  • While not required, being fluent in Spanish is a plus.

We'd love to have you apply, even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement. What's most important to us is finding authentic and accountable people who feel connected to our mission and values, not just candidates who check off all the boxes. We are looking for someone who will bring all their expertise, learn, and grow with us.

Our Total Rewards:

The annual base pay for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.

  • Competitive compensation
  • Work/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and flexible work schedules
  • Wellness: Company Contribution to Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for Employees and their Families, Company Paid Employee Life Insurance, Optional additional Life Insurance, and Short and Long-Term Disability Coverage Options
  • Parental Leave: Up to 18 weeks for birthing-parents and up to 10 weeks for non-birthing new parents
  • Financial Well-being: Roth and 401k plans: 100% match up to the first 4% and is immediately vested
  • Professional Development Reimbursement Program: Career development is as important to us as we know it is to you!
  • Our culture has an "attitude of gratitude" and a shared passion for our brand. Join our Bond Builder DEI committee to play a role celebrating DEI at OLAPLEX
  • Products: Twenty (20) free products per year, plus a friends and family discount
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:

Our mission is to create a culture that celebrates our bonds by embracing, elevating, and empowering individuals from all backgrounds.
