Position Description:
The Bartender prepares and serves a wide variety of wine, beer, and cocktails while providing warm, attentive service to guests.
Compensation:
  • Base pay: $3.00/hour plus tips
  • Total earnings vary based on shifts, season, and guest volume

Schedule and Employment Type:
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Coverage needed 7 days per week
  • Mix of weekdays, weekends, and holidays required

Shifts:
  • 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM to close (typically 10:00 to 11:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and servers
  • Provide attentive service, take orders, and serve food and drinks
  • Make recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Follow standard drink recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Enter orders accurately into POS system
  • Process payments, including cash and credit
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
  • Serve food to bar guests
  • Restock inventory and supplies
  • Report equipment or maintenance issues
  • Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies
  • Maintain required permits while on duty

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year bartending experience, resort or hospitality setting preferred
  • Previous table service experience required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit required before hire
  • Current Food Handler Permit required
  • Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails
  • Ability to operate POS system and handle transactions
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Lift and carry up to 60 lbs
  • Bend, reach, kneel, and climb stairs
  • Follow written and verbal instructions

Uniform Requirements:
  • Black slacks
  • Black non-slip shoes
  • Company-provided uniform shirt
