Job description

About the Position

Fleet Service of Tulsa is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembler to join our remanufacturing team. In this role, you will disassemble, inspect, clean, rebuild, and test oilfield equipment to return it to like-new operating condition. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, solving problems, and takes pride in producing high-quality equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Disassemble oilfield equipment and mechanical assemblies.
  • Clean, inspect, and evaluate components for wear or damage.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts using company specifications.
  • Reassemble equipment to OEM and company quality standards.
  • Perform functional testing to verify proper operation.
  • Read and interpret work orders, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, hydraulic equipment, and shop machinery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.


Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and assemble equipment.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, equipment repair, diesel, hydraulic, industrial, agricultural, or oilfield equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read measuring instruments and basic technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
  • Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
