Daily Responsibilities
- Drives company vehicles to position trailers as required.
- Inspects truck equipment such as lights, tires, brakes, gas, oil, and water performing maintenance as needed or informing supervisor of major problems.
- Drives truck to repair shop, fueling facility, or other locations as necessary.
- Maintains trailer inventory.
- Maintains work area and related equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Places trailer jacks and chocks for safe use of trailers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School education or GED.
- Must have Commercial Driver’s License with HAZARDOUS MATERIAL ENDORSEMENT
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and qualifications.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous truck driving exp is required
