Mechanical Engineer
Materials Testing • NX / SolidWorks • Aerospace / Mechanical • Project Engineering
Up to 25% domestic travel. Physical requirements include shipping, moving, and lifting materials up to 20 lbs across office and lab environments.
U.S. Citizenship required.
We're looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to support testing programs on materials using test rigs, assist with rig development project management, and execute materials testing tasks. You'll document and report test data, support procurement of test articles, and contribute to presentations for senior management - all in a fast-paced lab and engineering environment.
What you'll do
  • Support materials testing programs using test rigs
  • Manage and execute project tasks for PW rig development
  • Document and report test data; perform data entry into database systems
  • Support procurement and acquisition of test articles
  • Handle shipping and movement of materials/boxes up to 20 lbs across office and lab
  • Support presentations to senior management
  • Provide other project and logistical support as needed

What you need
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering + 1-2+ years of work experience - OR Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering + 0-2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in NX or SolidWorks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic project engineering skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 20 lbs
