Job description

We're seeking experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our roster for an upcoming project hauling Frac Sand in Grande Prairie, AB.

  • Paid training & driver evaluations to start the week of January 6, 2025 in Red Deer, AB, work to start shortly after for a 6 months to year contract position working around the Grande Prairie, AB region
  • Schedule options of 21 on/20 off and 15 on/6 off
  • Camp or hotel accommodations to be provided

Please ensure you meet all the below criteria before applying for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize proper PPE for loading and offloading product
  • Complete daily accurate pre-inspections and post-inspections regulatory logs and timesheets
  • Ensure information on Bill of Lading is correct
  • Ensure that electronic logs align with Federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience in Canada
  • Oilfield/off road driving experience
  • Super-b or tri-quad experience
  • Drivers abstract with no more than 6 demerits & no impaired driving convictions
  • Must know how to use tire chains
  • Polite and professional attitude
  • High regard for safety
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic

Certifications Required:

  • Must have a valid Class 1 driver's license and provide current 5-year commercial drivers abstract
  • Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C (AB & BC)
  • H2S Alive
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Other Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test
  • Must be clean shaven for masks used while around frac sand
  • Must be able to pass driver evaluation using an 18-speed manual
  • Steel toe boots are required for PPE
