What is an oil painter?

Oil painters are artists who use oil-based paints to create artworks on various surfaces, most commonly canvas or wood panels. Oil painting is valued for its versatility, rich colors, and slow drying time, which allows artists to blend colors and create detailed textures. Oil painters often develop their own unique styles, ranging from realism to abstract art. Many oil painters exhibit and sell their work in galleries, online, or through commissions.
