This is not a standard process optimization role. We are looking for a Lead Value Engineer to own customer success and drive high-stakes SaaS and AI adoption across top-tier O&G enterprise accounts. You will serve as the strategic bridge-translating complex business needs into technical strategy. As a trusted advisor to C-suite executives (COO, CFO, CTO), you will blend deep operational Oil & Gas DNA with elite management consulting and an AI-first mindset to realize maximum customer value.
This role is located in New York City (Hybrid) OR Greater Houston Area (Remote)

The work you'll do:

  • Value Selling & Realization: Map how the Celonis platform accelerates and underpins the customer's enterprise AI strategy. Take end-to-end accountability for massive ROI targets. Craft board-level executive narratives and lead complex, multi-workstream value workshops.
  • Stakeholder Management: Execute C-level orchestration, cultivating powerful executive sponsorship across the C-suite. Drive lasting adoption by co-owning enterprise-wide change management and building advanced CoE operating models for total self-sufficiency.

  • Platform & AI Fluency: Operate as a master AI-fluent operator, leveraging advanced copilots for rapid technical outputs and seamlessly orchestrating Applied Value Engineers for complex architectural builds.
  • Scale Value: Define the strategic expansion roadmap, positioning Celonis as the underlying intelligence layer for the enterprise. Guide product development by identifying next-generation industry use cases.

The qualifications you need:

  • Experience: 7+ years of highly relevant experience, demonstrating ownership of multiple strategic workstreams and possessing a growing body of expert industry knowledge.
  • AI & Technical & Fluency: Deep background in enterprise IT and SaaS (e.g., SAP). Master AI-fluent operator who uses AI to scale outputs and guides technical teams on complex solution design.
  • Builder Mentality: Thrives in ambiguity, capable of setting the strategic direction for entire account teams. Deeply committed to living for customer value.
  • Process Improvement & Value Realization: Master of value realization, setting the standard for business-critical proof points and advanced use cases.
  • Strategic Program & Stakeholder Management: Expert at orchestrating massive enterprise programs and navigating portfolio complexities. Proven ability to mobilize C-suite sponsorship. Flawless English with exceptional executive presence.
  • Domain & Industry: Expert knowledge in Finance/Supply Chain and deep expertise in Energy Sector dynamics. You stay continuously updated on business-critical use cases.
