Pay: $55- $80 per hour (Depends on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and motivated Oil & Gas Engineer to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of energy assets across production, processing, transportation, or refining systems.

This role provides engineering support for day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, optimization, and capital projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of oil & gas facilities, including production sites, pipelines, processing plants, or refineries
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and throughput
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions
  • Perform engineering calculations, data analysis, and performance evaluations
  • Assist with design, modification, and optimization of equipment and systems
  • Support planning and execution of maintenance activities, turnarounds, and projects
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents, failures, and process upsets
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, procedures, and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, HSE, and project management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Pipeline or related discipline)
  • 2+ years of experience in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sector
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Fluid flow, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems
    • Oil & gas production, processing, or transportation systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in upstream, midstream, or downstream operations
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (API, OSHA, PHMSA, EPA)
  • Experience with engineering software or modeling tools
  • Exposure to control systems (SCADA/DCS)
  • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
