Requirements
- Install and remove grounding rods and grounding equipment
- Perform grounding work on drilling rigs, workover rigs, coil tubing units and other field equipment
- Install, connect, disconnect and remove grounding components
- Assist with equipment and facility decommissioning
- Disconnect, remove, relocate and reinstall production equipment and systems
- Bend, route and install tubing
- Disconnect and reconnect tubing, piping and associated components
- Remove and install valves, fittings, flanges and related equipment
- Assist with system hook-ups and return-to-service activities
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools and equipment required to perform field work
- Follow LOTO, energy isolation, JSA/JHA and client-specific safety requirements
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with the Gang Pusher and other crew members to safely complete assigned work
Requirements
- Previous oil & gas field or facility maintenance experience
- Experience installing and removing grounding rods and grounding equipment strongly preferred
- Experience with facility or equipment decommissioning preferred
- Experience bending and installing tubing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with field equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass required pre-employment screenings
