Mineral Landman – Oil & Gas
Dallas, TX
$90,000–$110,000 + 10% Bonus
A well-established energy and natural resources organization is seeking an experienced Mineral Landman to support the active management of a significant mineral and leasehold portfolio.
This position will focus on mineral title interpretation, lease administration, title curative, ownership determination and ongoing management of oil and gas interests.
Responsibilities include:

  •  Interpret mineral title, oil & gas leases and related agreements 
  •  Research mineral ownership and leasehold status 
  •  Prepare and review runsheets and ownership reports 
  •  Perform title curative and resolve ownership discrepancies 
  •  Monitor lease expirations, pooling activity and post-primary-term provisions 
  •  Communicate with operators, mineral owners, brokers and other land professionals 
  •  Support lease negotiations and related agreements 
  •  Coordinate with GIS, accounting and land administration teams 
Qualifications

  •  5–10 years of oil & gas land management or mineral title experience 
  •  Strong mineral title and lease interpretation skills 
  •  Excellent communication and negotiation ability 
  •  RPL or CPL preferred 
  •  Permian Basin experience strongly preferred 
  •  Bachelor's degree preferred
