Job description

Production Foreman

jade owls is a fast-growing oil & gas operator built on integrity, grit, and cash flow. Since 2022, we've grown more than 70x and currently operate 14,000 BOE/d across Northeast Wyoming and Oklahoma. 

We're seeking an experienced Production Foreman to lead daily production operations, support field personnel, and drive safe, reliable, and efficient production across their assigned area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations across an assigned field area
  • Supervise and provide direction to Lease Operators and other production personnel
  • Monitor daily oil, gas, and water production and identify changes in well performance
  • Review production data and identify opportunities to improve production and reduce downtime
  • Troubleshoot well, facility, and equipment issues and coordinate timely resolution
  • Prioritize production issues based on safety, environmental, operational, and production impact
  • Monitor wells, tank batteries, pumps, artificial lift equipment, flowlines, and production facilities
  • Coordinate maintenance, well servicing, workovers, and other field activities
  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations leadership on well optimization and production improvement
  • Ensure accurate production measurements, reports, and field documentation
  • Review production and equipment reports for accuracy and follow up on abnormalities
  • Ensure field personnel complete required inspections and routine production activities
  • Conduct field inspections and identify safety, environmental, and operational concerns
  • Train, coach, and hold field personnel accountable for performance and safe work practices
  • Participate in route reviews and regularly evaluate field conditions and production performance
  • Communicate production issues, priorities, and opportunities clearly to leadership
  • Provide field coverage and support during critical operational events as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of oil & gas production experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory or foreman experience required
  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas wells, production equipment, and field operations
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues
  • SCADA experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of production reporting and field data
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Work Environment

  • Outdoor field work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, and H2S environments
  • Frequent travel throughout assigned field area
  • Regular interaction with production equipment, contractors, and field personnel
