Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The Logistics assistant will be responsible, but not limited to: Audit all freight bills and input them into the system. Cycle Inventory. Reconcile all inventory. Freight quotes, claims. Process UPS, complete end of day. Schedule returns. Route & schedule trucks for shipments.

EXPERIENCE OR REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years shipping experience
  • Forklift Experience.
  • Previous experience with international shipping requirements and knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills to read, write, understand and discuss (in English)
  • Intermediate to advanced math skills required.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Be able to use monarch to extract information

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Frequent: Balance, climb, crouch, and depth perception, handle, hear, kneel, manual dexterity, lift 15-50 lbs., reach, speak, stand, and stoop. Use personal protective equipment.

Occasional: Crawl, grasp, sit and walk.

Required: Close vision, color, and texture.
