Job description

SMU DEDMAN SCHOOL OF LAW is seeking applications from qualified persons for tenured and tenure-track faculty positions to begin Fall of 2027. We seek candidates with expertise in the following area: Oil & Gas/Natural Resources/Energy Law.  We seek established tenured scholars with strong scholarly records for oil & gas/natural resources/energy law. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.  To ensure full consideration for the positions, applications must be received by September 15, 2026 , but the committee will continue to accept applications until the positions are filled.
