Position Summary

The Offshore Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Logistics coordination and administrative operations supporting offshore project staffing, maintenance campaigns, and turn-around scopes of work. This role supports the Broussard, Louisiana location and directly reports to the Manager of Offshore Operations.

This role directly supervises Drivers and the Operations Administrative Assistant and serves as the primary point of accountability for Logistics readiness, compliance, and resource management across offshore and select onshore operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial environment where priorities shift frequently. Exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage both people and processes simultaneously are essential, along with strong multitasking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Supervision

- Directly supervise, coach, and develop Drivers (Logistics deployment and retrieval) and the Operations Administrative Assistant

- Establish performance expectations, conduct regular check-ins, and complete performance evaluations for direct reports

- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure workload balance across the team

- Demonstrate the ability to lead, influence, and hold team members accountable

Offshore/Onshore Logistics Administration

- Oversee coordination with the Recruiting Team of Logistics training, certification, and credentialing related to offshore assignments

- Ensure crew make-ups are compliant with Bilfinger, customer, and industry requirements

- Monitor and manage Logistics offshore movements from onshore to customer asset and back

- Maintain oversight of training matrices and certification/qualification records

- Lead and establish cadence for the weekly Logistics Resource Management Meetings

Stakeholder Communication

- Serve as primary liaison between field Logistics, Superintendents, Project Managers, Human Resources and internal support functions to communicate proactively regarding Logistics gaps, compliance risks, or operational issues.

- Partner with HR on employee relations matters, accommodations, and policy adherence as needed

- Maintain consistent communication with offshore teams and onshore stakeholders to ensure alignment

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered

- High school diploma or GED required

- 4+ years of experience in Logistics coordination, operations support, or workforce management in an industrial or offshore environment

- 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Proficiency in Smartsheet and SharePoint

- Experience with ERP or project tracking systems preferred

- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold others accountable
