Responsible for all flow assurance design matters Act as project Competent Person (CP) for subsea flow assurance Provide technical support to management of FEED Contractor designs Liaise fully with Subsea Team to ensure full integration of design requirements Provide input to cost estimating and control to support the accurate forecast and control of the project costs Provide input to project planner for the preparation and maintenance of a detailed and accurate subsea schedule Assist with the interfaces between FEED contractors and internal stakeholders Experience/Skills:- Experience in reservoir fluid characterisation and phase behaviour analysis A proven ability in evaluating steady-state and transient thermo-hydraulic pipeline modelling techniques, including OLGA & PIPESIM Experience in FEED / Detailed Design topsides & subsea process engineering as applicable to offshore oil & gas installations in the UKCS including the simulation of topsides process plant using HYSYS Ability to evaluate transient pipeline conditions such as warm-up and cool-down Experience in the assessment of operating and control strategies for both start-up and shut-down Experience in the design and management of asphaltenes, wax and chemicals, pigging, scale, foaming and separation - hydrate inhibition and corrosion inhibition, exposure to gas lifting and water injection systems design Degree qualified in an engineering discipline Oil & Gas Operator experience
