About the role:

As a Delivery Stream Engineer II you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse - from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. You will also evaluate all suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager. This evaluation will include working with customers, and reporting for opportunities related to Westinghouse APx Supply Chain.

You will report to the Delivery Stream Manager and work a mobile/hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Stream Engineer is responsible for personal, industrial, and nuclear safety as a fundamental part of their job.

Supplier Assessment:

  • Guide/Support Supplier Identification and down selection.
  • Improve/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
  • Promote/Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations

Supplier Oversight:

  • Creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
  • Build Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.

Supplier Development & Management:

  • Create Agendas and Lead Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers.
  • Conduct scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members.
  • Manage/Improve Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution.
  • Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 4+ year's experience in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries or Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of programming software helpful
  • Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.
  • US Citizen. You must meet the criteria for access to our partner's and client's technologies and meet import/export controls laws and regulations.
