Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking an experienced and highly skilled OpenText Solutions Architect / Consultant to provide technical leadership, support, and implementation expertise across a suite of OpenText platform products. The role involves end-to-end solution design, platform customization, and coordination with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day technical support and maintenance for OpenText applications.
• Collaborate with offshore and nearshore teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure continuous system availability and performance optimization.
• Serve as a technical liaison between business users and IT teams.
• Design and implement customized solutions, enhancements, and integrations.
• Support Content Server workflows, engineering drawing services, and RFC connections.
• Manage Archive Center cluster configurations, indexing, and storage setup.
• Develop automation scripts for file archival in Content Server and job management.
• Configure and deploy projects on the OpenText Transformation Server.
• Integrate OpenText solutions with external systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Google Cloud, and ECS.
• Create and maintain web reports, live reports, and document presentment configurations.
• Perform platform upgrades for both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Oversee user and partition management in OpenText Directory Services, including Active Directory and SSO integration.
• Support integration platforms using technologies like KOFAX Total Agility, PEGA RPA, and UiPath.
• Apply knowledge in REST API, web services, Java, .NET, MVC, and SQL Server to support development and customizations.
• Perform network and proxy configurations on Windows and Linux servers using IIS and Tomcat.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Extensive hands-on experience with OpenText product suite including: OpenText Content Server, OpenText Archive Center, OpenText Transformation Server, OpenText Directory Services, OpenText Extended ECM
• Strong consultation and solution architecture capabilities.
• Proficiency in OpenText Document Pipeline job management and scripting.
• Batch scripting for Extended ECM connected services.
• Scripting for automation of archival processes in Content Server.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 administration and IIS configuration.
• Knowledge of Tomcat configuration, network settings, and proxy handling on both Windows and Linux.
• Directory Services management including Active Directory integration and SSO configuration.
• Experience with robotic process automation tools like PEGA RPA and UiPath.
• Exposure to integration platforms and tools such as KOFAX Total Agility.
• Familiarity with .NET, MVC, REST APIs, Java, and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with: S/4 HANA and SuccessFactors integration, Archive Center integration with Google Cloud/ECS, OpenText SaaS implementation, Extended ECM RFC and Content Server object import connector configurations, Document Presentment and gateway configurations, Web and Live report development
Preferred:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• OpenText certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
