Job description
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the Federal Fire Administration of OLF SAN NIC.
This position is entitled to a remote site-offshore allowance up to $10.00 a day and may not to exceed $10.00 a day in addition to pay otherwise due to the employee. (See 5 U.S.C. 5942 and 5 C.F.R. 591 Subpart C)Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Lead day to day operations for assigned shift providing guidance on firefighter related procedures; 2) Fight structural and airfield fires using prefire planning methods and familiarity of layouts and design; 3) Operate firefighting emergency vehicles and equipment; 4) Provide hazardous material incident response; and, 5) Provide basic life support procedures as needed for each emergency call. NOTE: This information has to be supported within your resume to be considered for this position.

The position requires physical exertion for long and short periods of time, such as walking, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting. Incumbent will be required to undergo annual medical examination to determine fitness for continued performance of the duties of the station.
Work Environment :
The work environment involves high risks inherent with exposure to potentially dangerous situations, usual environmental stress. Exposure to noise, smoke, fire, hazardous chemicals, explosives, ammunition and other hazards. A wide range of safety precautions must be taken in these situations.Education:
There is no education requirements for this position.Employment Type: OTHER
